MUMBAI: Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil ends protest as Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde responds with a draft ordinance on reservation in education and jobs under OBC category. Thousands of supporters gathered in Navi Mumbai, and Patil expressed satisfaction with the government's response. The delegation sent by Chief Minister Shinde included officials to discuss and address the activist's demands. Despite calling off the protest, Patil mentioned the possibility of a march to Azad Maidan in Mumbai if all demands are not met.
