Yogi Adityanath's Convoy Vehicle Overturns in Lucknow, 9 Injured

Lucknow:
A convoy vehicle leading Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's fleet met with an accident today, leaving nine individuals injured. Fortunately, the Chief Minister emerged unharmed from the incident.

The mishap occurred after the convoy's anti-demo vehicle collided with an animal's carcass on a road in Lucknow, causing the vehicle to flip over. Among the injured were five police personnel who were promptly attended to by quick response teams at the scene. They were then swiftly transported to the civil hospital for medical treatment.

Director General of Police Prashant Kumar, Commissioner of Police Lucknow SB Shirodkar, and Additional Chief Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad were among the officials who arrived at the civil hospital to oversee the situation.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief, Akhilesh Yadav, took to social media to comment on the incident. He criticized Yogi Adityanath's administration for not addressing the issue of stray animals seriously, attributing the accident to this negligence.

"The problem of stray animals is a serious reality in Uttar Pradesh. It is a question of people's lives," Akhilesh Yadav remarked. He urged the public to hold the government accountable for its promises made during elections regarding the removal of stray animals from streets, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing public safety over political rhetoric.

As investigations into the accident continue, the incident serves as a reminder of the pressing need to address infrastructure and safety concerns on the roads of Uttar Pradesh.
