Maratha Activist Manoj Jarange Challenges Devendra Fadnavis Amidst Dialogue Tour

Beed:
Maratha activist Manoj Jarange Patil has reignited his challenge to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, daring him to take action against him. Jarange's remarks came during his ongoing dialogue tour, which commenced today with a visit to Wangaon in Beed district.

Addressing the Maratha community members, Jarange expressed defiance against the initiation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry against him, stating, "I will not step back an inch. Let Fadnavis put me in, and then witness the consequences. His entire table will be cleared."

Responding to questions about the Maratha community's stance on filing nomination papers against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Jarange asserted, "Marathas can do anything." He criticized the government's attempts to remove Maratha banners and posters while emphasizing the community's determination not to tolerate such actions.

Jarange also shed light on recent events, alleging that the government had manipulated legal proceedings against him. "Even if my neck is on the line, I will not retreat. But let's see what unfolds emotionally once I'm targeted," he challenged Fadnavis.

In a scathing retort to accusations linking him to Sharad Pawar's agenda, Jarange dismissed the claims, highlighting Fadnavis's contradictory statements regarding Pawar's involvement. "There is no one behind us," Jarange affirmed, refuting BJP's allegations and asserting the independence of the Maratha movement.

Jarange's steadfast stance underscores the resilience of the Maratha community and the ongoing tension between grassroots activism and political authority in Maharashtra.
