ED Claims Bribe Money Was Used for AAP's Election Funds

NEW DELHI:  The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of using bribe money from a Delhi Jal Board (DJB) contract for their election funds. The ED conducted raids in Delhi, Varanasi, and Chandigarh, seizing documents, digital evidence, and valuables worth crores.

AAP denied the accusations, saying no evidence was found against them during the raids. The investigation revolves around a DJB contract awarded despite irregularities. The ED alleges that bribes were passed to AAP members.

This isn't the first time AAP faced such accusations. Earlier, the ED claimed that bribe money from a scrapped Delhi excise policy was used for AAP's campaign in Goa.

AAP dismissed the charges as politically motivated attacks by the BJP. They accused the ED of bias, alleging they don't investigate BJP members who were previously accused of corruption.

As the allegations spark controversy, the political scene in Delhi remains tense, with AAP and BJP at odds over corruption claims.
