Situated on the banks of the Valdhuni river in Kalyan West, Central Park has been developed at the site of the municipality's reserved land, formerly known as Town Park. The project, executed at a cost of 69 crore 66 lakh rupees, has been meticulously crafted according to the project report prepared by M/s Design Accord in New Delhi.
For the citizens of Kalyan and Dombivli, Central Park is a welcome addition to their recreational options. Previously, Kala Talao
and Durgadi Ganesh Ghat served as the primary spots for leisure activities. However, concerns over the stench emanating from the Aadhaarwadi waste ground near Ganesh Ghat often deterred visitors. With the inauguration of Central Park, residents now have a pristine and inviting destination to enjoy quality leisure time with friends and family.
Central Park not only addresses the need for a clean and inviting recreational space but also serves as a point of pride for the local community. It eliminates the dilemma of where to take visitors for leisure activities, offering a well-maintained environment for relaxation and enjoyment.
With its thoughtful design and amenities, Central Park is poised to become a cherished landmark in Kalyan, enriching the lives of its residents and fostering a sense of community spirit.
Facilities in the park includes:
- Central Park will feature a scenic lake for visitors to enjoy.
- Elevated seating areas will provide panoramic views of the surroundings.
